Andorinhas is a mobile midwifery practice lead by midwife Tashmyn where prenatal, perinatal and postnatal care is delivered at the home of the family. The care is focused on supporting and guiding the family in the best way possible that they deserve, respecting their choices and wishes.
Vision
In a world where everything needs to happen fast and conform the norm I see Andorinhas flying to the comfort of women and their families in their perinatal season in life. Where time doesn’t matter, full attention is given and uniqueness is celebrated.
Every pregnancy is unique, and so each should be treated as such. Maternity healthcare should be available for every woman and child. Local or foreigner, rich or poor, from any culture and any background.
Mission
The mission is for every woman, baby and family to receive the pre-, peri or postnatal care they need and deserve. Preventing unnecessary visits to the hospital or healthcare centres that overflow the workload and that can be resolved by a midwifery consultation done at home or online.
